Penelope Ashmore-Mellor

Penny is local to our Head Office in Rugby, having lived in the town most of her life. She returned to Rugby in 2016 having graduated in Law and Politics and obtaining an LL.B. (Hons) degree from Cardiff University. Penny began working for Yelland Savage in 2017 and has progressed through the company in roles including Paralegal, Assistant Contracts Consultant and her most recent role as Contracts Consultant.
To progress her understanding, in September 2019 Penny undertook studying the prestigious MSc in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution at Kingโs College London and graduated with Merit in 2022.
Penny has a range of experience within the industry including contentious matters such as the compilation of claim documents, quantum claim analysis and adjudication. Non-contentious workload consists of contract reviews and assisting clients with contract administration. Outside of the office Penny enjoys keeping active and maintaining a large collection of house plants.
